I am already a little bit behind sharing this as we are already into 2018, but 2017 was packed with incredible clients, awesome adventures and a lot of love. I haven't even been able to share 98% of the full blogs for these weddings which is just killing me! So for now, here are the highlights. And there are quite a few of them!

We had a very busy January that we started on a plane from Denver to Phoenix to visit some of our favorite clients! Justin and Pilar had an intimate wedding ceremony on 7/11/2016 in Denver where Justin was pitching for the Colorado Rockies. So of course we had to be there for their big wedding reception and their PREGNANCY announcement!

Immediately following our trip to the desert, we came home to our first publication of the year in Denver Life Weddings Magazine. It was a feature on advice for your engagement session and had a gorgeous full page of Josh Rutledge and Laura Mckeeman (Now Laura Rutledge)'s engagement session at Coors Field!

That same week, we also shot an amazing, private family moment for Colorado Rockies Pitcher Chad Qualls and his amazing wife Tara. Those images will remain private. Just 2 days later, we were braving the snowstorm at the Denver International Airport on our way down to the Gulf Coast for Kansas City Royals' Terrance Gore and his gorgeous bride Britney's waterfront wedding at the Sheraton Bay Point Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida!

In February we met up on a VERY chilly day with one of our summer wedding couples for a fun snowy engagement session! Colin and Allison snuggled up and braved the cold for some awesome winter engagements!

Although the snow and ice are beautiful in photos, I was excited to head down to Phoenix for a few sessions and an amazing desert wedding!

First we met up with some of our favorite clients for their spring family photos just down the road from their Spring Training home with the Royals in Surprise, Arizona.

We also did a fun couples session at the AL Champions home stadium in Goodyear with some awesome Indians fans - Melissa and Jerome! Nothing like a cold beer and a good ballgame under the warm Arizona spring sun!

We shot a romantic desert session in Scottsdale at the Phoenician with Shane and Bailey. As you can probably tell, I am a big fan of bougainvillea and saguaro.

And now, the amazing bride we flew down to photograph! Before the wedding, we headed out to the desert to photograph Sarah's bridal session! Isn't she GORGEOUS!?

We headed back to Colorado on an early flight and when we got home, we received all of our Shoot and Share Contest Winnings! Here are our photos that did well and the statistics that go with them!

At the end of April, we were surprised (well not that surprised - it IS Colorado) with a blizzard for Julian and Kim's wedding in the forest. I have to say, Julian and Kim were up for everything. Everything including freezing and walking in shin deep snow - Kim in open toed shoes. They made their photos the priority for the day and it paid off!

Because - Colorado. hahaha!

In May, we shot with Colorado Rockies pitcher Greg Holland, his beautiful preggo wife Lacey and their hilarious son Nash for their maternity session here in Colorado!

The following week, we jumped on a plane to Europe. We flew into Heathrow and spent some time exploring London! We booked two mini couples adventure sessions while we were there and then headed out to the English and Welsh countryside for a few days! I am going to mix in a few personal photos from this trip. We had such a wonderful time in the UK!

From the UK we also visited Hamburg, Germany and Norway! It was pouring all day in Hamburg, Bergen and Alesund so I left my camera in my bag and just used my phone. Norway was INCREDIBLE!

Next, we shot Matt and Maggie's riverside mountain wedding in Boulder, Colorado at the Wedgewood Boulder Creek.

Then the following weekend, we shot a beautiful backyard barn wedding in Erie, CO for Travis and Chelsie!

We also checked back in with Colorado Rockies pitcher Greg Holland's family and welcomed the newest member of their family! Miss Hunter!

We journeyed up to Breckenridge for an amazing slopeside August wedding with Colin and Allison at Ten Mile Station.

One of our favorite sessions of the year, our camping adventure session with Jordan and Holly was next!

We wrapped up the fall with a gorgeous wedding in the mountains near Divide at John Wesley Ranch. We started the day with amazing weather and the amazing aspen fall color that Colorado is famous for. But immediately following the ceremony it started pouring. Like raining harder than we've ever shot in and that is saying something since we shot a wedding in a tropical storm a few years back at Disney World in Orlando.

Clark and Christine ventured up to the peaks with me for their engagement session before their winter 2018 wedding. We had so much fun in the alpine forest and even found some snow to play in!
